See below for information about your RISD diploma—the commemorative symbol of your student achievements—including how to order a reissued diploma if necessary.

The academic diploma you receive from RISD—which includes your name handwritten in calligraphy—differs from the scroll you receive during your commencement ceremony. Your diploma will be available for pickup after the ceremony, or can be mailed to you if needed.

Reissuing a diploma

If you lose or misplace your diploma, you can request a reissue for a $100 fee, including shipping. Since all RISD diplomas include calligraphic personalizations, we ask that you allow four to six weeks to receive your reissued diploma. RISD does not issue electronic diplomas.
